Install Claude Code

The easy way (recommended)

Open eazycli, go to the setup checklist, and click Install next to Claude Code CLI. It downloads everything and sets it up for you — no commands to type.

The manual way

Prefer to do it yourself? Open a terminal and run this command:

npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code

When it finishes, type this command to start Claude Code:

claude

The manual route needs Node.js installed first. The one-click setup in eazycli handles that for you, which is why we recommend it for beginners.
